Canada has three major ballet companies: Les Grands Ballets canadiens in Montreal, the National Ballet of Canada in Toronto (Four Seasons Centre), and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. For contemporary dance, Montreal is the Canadian epicenter (Festival TransAmériques, Agora de la danse, Tangente). In Vancouver, Arts Umbrella and Ballet BC dominate. The FTA (Festival TransAmériques) in May-June presents international contemporary work. Spectaculos also lists international tours (Alvin Ailey, Cirque du Soleil dance productions, etc.).
