Seven major Canadian metros — Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Quebec City — concentrate most of the major tours. Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and Bell Centre in Montreal are the country's largest venues (18,000–21,000 seats). Summer festivals densify the program: Osheaga, Bluesfest Ottawa, FME, Squamish. For francophone music, Montreal and Quebec City are essential. For the anglo-Canadian scene, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary dominate. Spectaculos also lists alternative venues — Massey Hall, Place des Arts, Commodore Ballroom, Rebel — where programming tends to be more curated.
