Zachary Lucky

Zachary Lucky is a songwriter born in Saskatoon in 1989 and the grandson of Canadian country pioneer Smilin' Johnnie Lucky. His warm baritone and his writing about place and memory have drawn steady comparisons to Gordon Lightfoot and Kris Kristofferson. For more than fifteen years he has kept one of the hardest touring schedules in Canadian folk and roots music, often playing well over a hundred shows a year, behind albums including Saskatchewan, Midwestern and Songs For Hard Times.
