Underoath

Underoath are an American metalcore band formed in Ocala, Florida, in 1997 and long based in Tampa. The push-and-pull between Aaron Gillespie's clean singing and Spencer Chamberlain's screams drove They're Only Chasing Safety (2004) and Define the Great Line (2006), which startled the industry by debuting at number two on the Billboard 200. The band split in 2013 and reunited in 2015.
