True Mountain Laurel brings together two Vancouver songwriters, Haley Blais and Sam Lynch, around a spare folk-country sound built on acoustic guitars, brushed drums and pedal steel. The project grew out of late-night harmonies and voice memos traded between friends. Their debut album, Angel So Bad, arrives in August 2026 on Birthday Cake Records.
