Trans-Siberian Orchestra is an American progressive rock group founded in 1996 by composer Paul O'Neill, known for Christmas rock operas that fuse electric guitars, full orchestra and choir with elaborate light and pyrotechnic staging. The album "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" turned their winter run into a North American holiday institution. In 2026 the band marks 30 years of "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve" across more than fifty cities.
