Thundercat

Thundercat is the stage name of Stephen Bruner, a bassist, singer and composer from Los Angeles. A virtuoso on the six-string bass, he played with Suicidal Tendencies before building a solo body of work spanning jazz, funk and soul. Drunk (2017) and the Grammy-winning It Is What It Is (2020) sealed his reputation, as did his playing on Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly.
