the olllam

the olllam is a transatlantic collective that grafts Irish traditional music onto Detroit post-rock energy. It brings together uilleann piper John McSherry of Lúnasa, bassist Joe Dart of Vulfpeck, and drummer Michael Shimmin. The result: ancient melodies carried by electric grooves, landing somewhere between an Irish session and an instrumental rock band.
