The Mary Wallopers come from Dundalk, County Louth, and play Irish ballads with the swagger of a punk band. Built around brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy with Seán McKenna, the group later grew to include bass, drums, accordion and uilleann pipes. Their 2022 debut was followed by Irish Rock n Roll, drawing comparisons to the Dubliners and the Pogues.
