The Lowest of the Low

Toronto alternative rock band formed in 1991 by Ron Hawkins, Stephen Stanley and David Alexander. Their debut, Shakespeare My Butt (1991), became one of the best-selling independent albums in Canadian history, celebrated for its vivid songs about the city's streets and bars. The band was inducted into the Canadian Indie Rock Hall of Fame in 2008.
