An Irish folk quartet formed in Dublin in 2008, The High Kings bring together Brian Dunphy, Finbarr Clancy, Martin Furey and Darren Holden, each descended from one of the country's great musical families. Their four-part harmonies and traditional instrumentation — bodhran, banjo, mandolin — have carried the Irish ballad to the top of the charts. Composer Ludwig Goransson picked their readings of "The Rocky Road to Dublin" and "Go Lassie Go" for the score of the film Sinners.
