The Growlers are an American band formed in 2006 in Dana Point, California, fronted by singer Brooks Nielsen. Their sound blends surf rock, psychedelia and lo-fi pop into a style they nicknamed "beach goth", a name later given to the California festival they hosted for several years. Following albums such as Chinese Fountain and City Club, produced by The Strokes' Julian Casablancas, the band keeps touring across North America.
