The East Pointers are a Canadian folk band from Prince Edward Island, formed in 2014. Blending Maritime Celtic tradition with pop songwriting, they won the Juno Award for Traditional Roots Album of the Year in 2017 for Secret Victory. Now led by Tim Chaisson (fiddle, vocals) and Jake Charron (guitar, keyboards), following the death of banjo player Koady Chaisson in 2023, the band released Schoonertown in January 2026 and hosts the Goolaholla festival on their home island each fall.
