The Dresden Dolls are a duo formed in Boston in 2000 by pianist-singer Amanda Palmer and drummer Brian Viglione. Their self-described Brechtian punk cabaret pairs whiteface theatricality with raw-nerve songwriting, heard on the albums The Dresden Dolls and Yes, Virginia... and the cult single Coin-Operated Boy. The pair returned to the road in 2026.
