The Charlatans

The Charlatans are an English rock band formed in 1989 in the West Midlands. Key figures of the 'Madchester' scene and later Britpop, they are led by singer Tim Burgess and defined by swirling Hammond-organ textures. Hits such as 'The Only One I Know' and 'North Country Boy' anchor a career spanning more than thirty years and several UK number-one albums.
