The Bones of J.R. Jones

The Bones of J.R. Jones is the vehicle of singer and guitarist Jonathon Linaberry, raised in central New York State. Since 2012 he has carved out a lean, spectral take on blues, folk and Appalachian roots music, often performing as a one-man band with guitar or banjo in hand and a modified kick drum underfoot, from Dark Was the Yearling to Slow Lightning.
