The Blasting Company is an American folk band from Los Angeles, founded in 2008 by half-brothers Justin Rubenstein and J.R. Kaufman. They composed the score for Cartoon Network's cult miniseries Over the Garden Wall (2014), praised for vintage-flavoured songs such as 'Into the Unknown.' In 2026 the band performs that music live for the first time on a North American tour.
