Formed in Atlanta in 1984 around brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, The Black Crowes dragged 1970s blues rock back onto the charts with Shake Your Money Maker and their cover of Otis Redding's Hard to Handle. Fraternal feuds broke the band up more than once; the brothers reconciled in 2019 and the group is touring again.
