The Barra MacNeils

A family band from Sydney Mines on Cape Breton Island, The Barra MacNeils have played together as siblings since 1980. Their Celtic music weaves sibling harmonies, acoustic instruments, dance, Gaelic songs and storytelling into a single set. They won a Juno Award for the album TimeFrame in 1992 along with several East Coast Music Awards, and have released more than seventeen recordings.
