Surf Hat is a Squamish, British Columbia band built around Jon Allan and Evan Camm. Their mix of surf, psych, folk and indie earned its own label - 'cold water psych-surf' - beach rock relocated to the cold North Pacific. Two full-length albums since 2022 and relentless gigging across western Canada made their name, and the group returned to the stage with a reshaped line-up following personnel changes at the end of 2024.
