Spoons

Spoons are a Canadian new wave band formed in Burlington, Ontario, in 1979, led by singer and guitarist Gordon Deppe with Sandy Horne on bass and vocals. Their 1982 album Arias & Symphonies, home of the hit Nova Heart, is often ranked among the most influential Canadian records of the decade. Romantic Traffic and Old Emotions followed, and they earned a Juno nomination in 1983.
