Sincere Engineer

Sincere Engineer is the project of Chicago singer-songwriter Deanna Belos, who came up in the city's DIY folk-punk scene around 2015, playing open mics with an acoustic guitar. Local punk label Red Scare Industries picked her up in 2016, she moved to a full band, and the debut Rhombithian arrived in 2017, followed by Bless My Psyche in 2021 and Cheap Grills in 2023. The songs land somewhere between pop-punk, emo and blunt, funny everyday writing.
