Saint Levant, born Marwan Abdelhamid in Jerusalem and raised in Gaza and Jordan, is a Palestinian singer-songwriter and rapper who moves between Arabic, French and English. His R&B-tinted pop, steeped in Arab musical heritage, broke through with the single Very Few Friends. The album Afandi anchors a stage show conceived as a narrative piece inspired by 1990s Levantine cabarets.
