RuPaul Andre Charles is a defining figure of American drag culture, working as a performer, host and recording artist. His 1993 single Supermodel (You Better Work) broke him through, and since 2009 he has hosted the multiple Emmy-winning RuPaul's Drag Race. Alongside television, he tours as a DJ, spinning house and dance sets for festival crowds.
