Roxette are a Swedish pop duo formed in Halmstad in 1986 by Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson, and one of the best-selling Swedish acts of all time on the strength of "The Look", "Listen to Your Heart", "Joyride" and "It Must Have Been Love". After Fredriksson's death in 2019, co-founder Gessle revived the band with singer Lena Philipsson on lead vocals. In 2026 they mark 40 years since debut album Pearls of Passion with a North American tour reaching Toronto and Montreal.
