Rett Madison is a singer-songwriter born in West Virginia and based in Los Angeles, with a big voice that pulls folk toward soul. After "Pin-Up Daddy" (2021) she released "One for Jackie" (2023), a record written in memory of her mother, who died in 2019 — a disarmingly frank album about grief, family and putting yourself back together.
