Rémi Cormier is a Montreal jazz trumpeter and composer who holds a master's in jazz performance from the Université de Montréal. Named Radio-Canada's 2023 Jazz Revelation of the Year, he blends European, modern and North African influences into a personal, socially conscious voice. His debut album 'Glimpse' established him as one of the most promising trumpeters of his generation; he has shared the stage with Dave Holland, Randy Brecker and Oliver Jones.
