Founded in 1902 by Joseph Vézina, the Orchestre symphonique de Québec is the oldest Canadian orchestra still performing. Led by music director Clemens Schuldt, it plays its season at Quebec City's Grand Théâtre, with Beethoven, Rachmaninov and Brahms on the bill, including Brahms's German Requiem with the OSQ choir. For more than a century it has been the home of symphonic music in the provincial capital.
