Plini — full name Plini Roessler-Holgate — is an Australian guitarist and composer born in Sydney in 1993. Self-taught and first noticed through EPs he released online, he became a leading voice in instrumental progressive rock, pairing odd-meter riffing with bright, unhurried melody. His debut album Handmade Cities (2016) drew wide critical praise; his third, An Unnameable Desire, arrived in April 2026.
