A Montreal songwriter and pianist, Patrick Watson builds atmospheric chamber pop around his distinctive falsetto. His album Close to Paradise won the Polaris Music Prize in 2007, and his song Je te laisserai des mots found a vast second life online years after release. With Compagnie Yoann Bourgeois he co-created a stage work weaving live music, contemporary circus and dance.
