Pat Metheny

Born in Lee's Summit, Missouri, Pat Metheny has been reshaping the vocabulary of the jazz guitar since the 1970s, pairing an unmistakably warm lyricism with a restless appetite for new sounds. Between the Pat Metheny Group and his solo work he has won some twenty Grammy awards across a record number of different categories. His Side-Eye project, which pairs him with younger players, produced the album Side-Eye III+ and its accompanying tour.
