Parra for Cuva is the recording name of German producer Nicolas Demuth, born in 1991. His 2013 reworking of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game, sung by Anna Naklab, went platinum and opened the door for him. Across albums from Majouré in 2014 to Juno in 2021, he has built an organic strain of electronic music from strings, field recordings and downtempo rhythms.
