Northcote is the stage name of Matt Goud, a singer-songwriter born in 1985 in Carlyle, Saskatchewan. A founding member of the hardcore band Means, he now writes big-hearted folk rock anthems about connection and resilience. He has shared stages with The Gaslight Anthem, Frank Turner and Hot Water Music, and in 2026 he is touring To Cherish, an album recorded in Vancouver with producer Jesse Gander.
