Nation of Language is a synth-pop band formed in Brooklyn in 2016 by Ian Devaney, Aidan Noell and Alex MacKay. Drawing on krautrock, Kraftwerk and early new-wave electronics, the trio pairs wistful melodies with propulsive, danceable rhythms. Their debut Introduction, Presence arrived in 2020, followed by A Way Forward and, in 2025, Dance Called Memory.
