Mountain Grass Unit is a bluegrass quartet from Birmingham, Alabama, built around mandolinist Drury Anderson, guitarist Luke Black, bassist Sam Wilson and fiddler Josiah Nelson. Named IBMA Momentum Band of the Year, they made their Grand Ole Opry debut in 2026 and are touring behind their debut album 'Appalachian Smoke', released on Dualtone Records.
