Mononc' Serge is the stage persona of Serge Robert, a Quebec songwriter known for caustic, bawdy and deliberately impolite lyrics. He has released around a dozen studio albums. His collaborations with metal band Anonymus, begun in the 2000s and revived after sixteen years with the album Metal canadien-francais, left a mark on Quebec's heavy scene.
