Men Without Hats

Montreal new wave band Men Without Hats reached the whole world in 1982 with The Safety Dance, followed by Pop Goes the World. Still fronted by singer Ivan Doroschuk, the group won the Juno Award for Most Promising Group in 1983 and keeps touring Canada with its synth-pop catalogue, recently sharing bills with fellow Canadian new wave act Spoons.
