Melanie Martinez is an American singer, songwriter and director from Queens, New York. After breaking through on The Voice in 2012, she turned alternative pop into long-form storytelling, giving each album its own character and world: Cry Baby, K-12 - which she wrote and directed as a feature film - followed by Portals and Hades. Her 2026 HADES: THE SACRIFICE tour leans on practical effects and camera illusions rather than conventional stage screens.
