Matteo Lane

Matteo Lane is an American stand-up comedian born in 1986 in Des Plaines, Illinois, and raised around Chicago. Before comedy he earned a fine-arts degree in oil painting and spent several years in Rome training as an opera singer, a voice he still deploys on stage. He started doing open mics in 2011, broke through at Montreal's Just for Laughs in 2014, and has since appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Late Night with Seth Meyers, and headlined Carnegie Hall.
