Mariachi ensemble founded in Chicago in 2016 by César Maldonado out of the Mariachi Heritage Foundation. Its fourteen musicians, aged 18 to 32, embody a new bicultural generation of mariachi. Their debut album, Nuestra Herencia, earned a Latin Grammy nomination, and the group has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to the Kennedy Center.
