Lunch At Allen's brings together four pillars of Canadian songwriting: Cindy Church, Marc Jordan, Murray McLauchlan and Ian Thomas. The name comes from Allen's restaurant on Toronto's Danforth Avenue, where three of them regularly met for lunch. Assembled in 2004 for what was meant to be a single eight-city tour, the folk-pop quartet has kept writing and touring ever since, releasing albums including Catch the Moon (2007) and More Lunch at Allen's (2010).
