Lucy Dacus is an American singer-songwriter, born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1995 and raised in Richmond. Her narrative writing, set against unfussy indie rock, surfaced on 2016's No Burden and deepened on Historian. She is also one third of boygenius alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, a trio that won three Grammys in 2024. Her Forever Is a Feeling tour, named for her fourth album, continues through 2026.
