Los Tigres del Norte

Formed in 1968 in the village of Rosa Morada in Sinaloa, Mexico, and later based in San Jose, California, Los Tigres del Norte are among the most influential names in norteño music. Their accordion-driven corridos tell stories of migration and border life. Grammy winners and BMI Icons since 2007, they also created a foundation in 2000 to preserve Mexican and Mexican-American folk traditions.
