Born Lauren Mandel in Toronto and now based in Los Angeles, LØLØ broke out during the pandemic on TikTok with acoustic covers rewritten from a different character's point of view, starting with a much-shared take on Taylor Swift's Betty. Her sharp-tongued pop-punk, frequently compared to Paramore and Avril Lavigne, produced the albums Falling for Robots and Wishing I Was One (2025) and god forbid a girl spits out her feelings! (2026).
