Kanan Gill is an Indian stand-up comedian, writer and actor raised in Bengaluru. A software engineer before comedy, he broke out with the YouTube series "Pretentious Movie Reviews" alongside Biswa Kalyan Rath, then went on to Netflix stand-up specials. His observational writing is tightly built and happily digressive, starting from the everyday and drifting into the absurd.
