Kaleo

Kaleo is an Icelandic rock band formed in 2012 in Mosfellsbær and fronted by the gravel-and-honey voice of JJ Julius Son. After relocating for a spell to Austin, Texas, the group built a sound that folds blues, folk and rock into something both raw and wide open. Their 2016 album A/B broke them internationally on the strength of Way Down We Go and No Good, earning a Grammy nomination. They are marking that record's tenth anniversary with the Way Down We Go Tour, including Canadian stops in 2026.
