Joshua Redman

American tenor saxophonist born in 1969 and son of the legendary Dewey Redman, Joshua Redman has been one of jazz's leading voices since the 1990s. A Harvard graduate, he won the Thelonious Monk Competition in 1991 before recording for Warner and later Blue Note. His current quartet tours behind the album 'Words Fall Short', blending lyricism with drive.
