Jon Spencer

Born in 1965, Jon Spencer is an American singer and guitarist who has been a fixture of garage and noise rock since Pussy Galore, later fronting Boss Hog and, most famously, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. Critics describe his sound as punk, blues and garage colliding under heavy distortion, delivered with showman's swagger. Since 2023 he has toured with a new rhythm section drawn from The Bobby Lees, releasing Sick of Being Sick! in 2024.
