Jake Xerxes Fussell

Jake Xerxes Fussell is an American singer and guitarist born in 1981 in Columbus, Georgia, the son of a folklorist. As a teenager he studied with older musicians of the Chattahoochee Valley, including Piedmont blues singer Precious Bryant. He reworks traditional Southern songs with soft guitar playing and quiet mischief, notably on Good and Green Again (2022) and When I'm Called (2024).
