Iron Maiden

British heavy metal band founded in Leyton, east London, in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris. With Bruce Dickinson's soaring vocals and the ghoulish mascot Eddie on every sleeve, Iron Maiden built one of metal's most devoted followings and sold more than 100 million records, from The Number of the Beast to Powerslave. Their 50th-anniversary Run For Your Lives world tour reaches North America in 2026, with Megadeth and Anthrax on the Canadian dates.
